Man City faced competition from Mikel Artetaâs Arsenal and Jurgen Kloppâs Liverpool last season before clinching a record fourth successive Premier League title.
Despite supporting United, Bolt was glad local rivals Manchester City lifted yet another Premier League trophy as he âcouldnât dealâ with Arsenal winning the title.
The former sprinter has also suggested his beloved Manchester United had a better season than Arsenal despite finishing six places and 29 points behind the Gunners.
While United endured their lowest-ever Premier League finish under Ten Hag, they ended a dismal season on a high after winning the FA Cup. Arsenal, despite challenging for the title, failed to secure any silverware.
Asked who had a more successful season out of Arsenal and Manchester United, Bolt told talkSPORT:Â âItâs like Iâm running on a circuit and doing well and then I get to the Championship and win no medals.â
When it was pointed out to Bolt that United finished eighth in the Premier League, the Jamaican added: âYeah, but weâre in Europe.Â
âEverybody always asks me who Iâd rather win the Premier League out of Arsenal and Man City â Iâm like, âMan City, easy.âÂ
âPeople are like, âBut theyâre your rivalâ. I know a lot of Arsenal fans and when theyâre top of the table they talk so much and Iâm like, âYou havenât won yet!âÂ
âImagine if they actually won? Oh my God, it would be over. Iâd rather Man City win than Arsenal because I couldnât deal with it.Â
âLiverpool? No, because theyâd be tied on titles with us and we canât have that and because Arsenal talk so much, Iâd rather deal with Man City.Â
âTheyâre all young fans and I donât know many young people so Iâm fine with that!â
Bolt is lacing up his football boots once again to take part in UNICEFâs charity match between a Soccer Aid World XI and England at Stamford Bridge on Sunday night.
Popstar Robbie Williams, Love Islandâs Tommy Fury, ex-England cricketer Stuart Broad and former England footballer Theo Walcott are also set to feature in a bid to help children worldwide âgrow up happy, healthy and able to playâ.
