Wan-Bissaka is considering his future at United but has already turned down a move to West Ham this summer.
United will be in the market for a new right-back if Wan-Bissaka and have held talks with Bayern Munich for Noussair Mazraoui.
West Ham are also looking to sign Mazraoui and had agreed a £13.5 million fee, plus a further £3m in add-ons, with Bayern for the 26-year-old.
However, talks with West Ham broke down on Friday and it’s understood that Mazraoui, who played under Erik ten Hag at Ajax, is holding out for a move to United.
Earlier this summer, it was reported in Italy that Inter were demanding a €30m (£25.3m) fee for the Netherlands international.
Wan-Bissaka is said to be open to leaving United while the club are ready to sell for the right price.
The 26-year-old, who United signed for £50m from Crystal Palace in 2019, has also received interest from Galatasaray.
Meanwhile, Ten Hag insists United are ‘always looking’ for further signings having secured deals for Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro this month.
‘I just want a squad that is strong as possible,’ Ten Hag said at his press conference in Los Angeles on Friday night.
‘We have already had two very good buys, so when everyone is fit, we have a team who can beat everyone, but also in the squad depth, we have to catch up. We know that because we had injuries and we are vulnerable and we have to avoid this by firstly getting less injuries, picking up less injuries.
‘And secondly, our squad has to be good in its depth. Of course, we have the quality, but in the depth, now we have to catch up and even more because this season will be the survival of the fittest.
‘I think the good thing is we already signed two players but I think it belongs to a club as Manchester United that you are always looking if the opportunity is there for better. And we still have time until August 31.’
