Nigerian high-life singer, Chinedu Okoli, popularly known as Flavour N’abania, has bid his final farewell to his father, Benjamin Onyemaechi Okoli in Umunze, Anambra state.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, Flavour shared a video captioning it, “O RUO N’OMUME. KA ANYI DUO ODOGWU IJE 🕊️” (Translated: “The time has come . Let us bid farewell to the hero”).
The funeral was attended by notable celebrities, including Peter Obi, Phyno, and Cubana Chief, Obi Cubana, and Odumeje
Earlier, Flavour’s wife, Sandra Okagbue, a former beauty queen, took to Instagram to pay her respects to her father-in-law. She wrote, “Today, we gather not in sorrow, but in celebration of the life of a remarkable man who will always be an icon to many. Farewell, my father-in-law, Pa Benjamin Okoli.”
Flavour announced his father’s passing on Facebook and Twitter on May 22nd, sharing an emotional video.
