After an impressive showing at Euro 2024, Guehi has attracted plenty of interest from rival Premier League clubs.
None more so than Newcastle who have now reportedly lodged a fourth bid worth up to ÂŁ65 million for the 24-year-old.
Palace, though, have stood firm on their valuation â believed to be more than ÂŁ70m â with manager Glasner insisting he had held talks with Guehi and expects the centre-back to start on the weekend against Brentford.
âMarc trained today and we talked together,â the Austrian said when asked about the latest bid for his centre-back.
âI will have to look at my bank account if something came in! But it doesnât look like it so we have to plan with Marc.
âHe is our player and our captain and I canât tell you anything else.â
Guehi is not the only Palace defender in demand from other rival clubs, with Fulham seeing a bid for Joachim Andersen rejected in recent days.
âThere were many rumours about players,â Glasner said.
âYou asked me about availability â all players are available. Iâm very close with all the players â we are talking almost every day.
âAs long as nobody tells me: âGaffer, I will leave.â Or if the club tells me a player will leave, we work with them every day and prepare the team to be competitive for a Premier League game.â
Speaking earlier in the day, Newcastle manager Eddie Howe said the club will have to decide if it is worth continuing to bid for the player, insisting they wonât pay âsilly feesâ for players.
âIf you believe in the deal, believe in the player and itâs still within your financial structure, then yes, 100 per cent, you keep working on it,â he said.
âBut there are also times where we have to go, âOkay, thatâs too muchâ, and weâve done that plenty of times in the last two-and-a-half years.
People might not have found out about that, but weâve had to switch targets. It depends on the deal and the amount of money that youâre going to spend.â
