Preamble
Welcome to Part II of Easter’s EFL double header. Once again, the Championship’s top trio have been given staggered kick-off times. Leicester are in action as we speak, Ipswich host Southampton at 5.30pm while Leeds take on Hull at Elland Road in an 8pm kick-off. We’ll have live minute-by-minute coverage of that Yorkshire derby. At the bottom, it’s even more chaotic with just five points separating Millwall in 16th to Sheffield Wednesday in 23rd. Rotherham, 19 points adrift at the bottom, will be relegated today if they fail to win.
We’ll also dip into the action in Leagues One and Two where Portsmouth and Stockport lead their respective divisions. Mansfield, just a point off the pace, won’t be taking over top spot in League Two. That’s not a prediction; it’s a fact based on their home game against Accrington being called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
