Ollie Watkins has earned praise from Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, not just for his goal-scoring, but the assists he has been providing as well.
The 28-year-old is having a fabulous season with the Villains, scoring 16 goals in 27 Premier League games, already the most he has scored in a top flight campaign.
The England international has also been prolific in the Europa Conference League, with five in six in his first ever European campaign.
The former Brentford man has also been laying on goals for his teammates, providing 10 Premier League assists so far this season.
Henry loves to see a goal-scorer, but it is his superb number of assists that has really impressed him about Watkins.
‘This is always something that I mention about players, can you also assist?’ Henry said on Sky Sports.
‘We all know that Ollie Watkins can score, but can you add something else to your game? Can you come, lay-off the ball to someone? Not only are you scoring, we all know that you have that in your locker, so that impresses me.’
Watkins is producing numbers that are rarely seen, with only Harry Kane producing more goal involvements so far this season across Europe’s top leagues.
The England captain has scored 27 Bundesliga goals for Bayern Munich and provided five assists, taking his tally to 32, while Watkins is on 26.
Only two players in a 38-game Premier League season have managed to score 15+ goals and provide 15+ assists, with Watkins having the chance to join that exclusive club.
Hazard managed 16 goals and 15 assists for Chelsea in 2018-19, while Henry produced a monumental 24 goals and 20 assists for Arsenal in 2002-03.
